As small business owners ourselves, and because of our communications and information management experience, we sometimes get asked by other small business owners and voluntary organisations to have a look at their website or social media pages before they go live, or soon after. We are able to advise them where there is duplication or inconsistencies, and to give our opinion on the general look of the site/pages/account.
We’ve done this a few times now and had good feedback: “Brilliant! You rock Pauline! Great checklists” and “Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it! I’m forwarding this email straight on to the web developer and she will do as much as she can for today…thank you very much for taking time out to have a look and give me your comments”.
