Made in 2010-11, the film ‘The Casebook of Eddie Brewer’ has been described as a Birmingham-made faux documentary, following old school paranormal investigator, Eddie Brewer, as he checks out possible ghostly hauntings, whilst challenged by sceptics and self inflicted guilt. A dry sense of humour in a well crafted script benefits from multiple plotting, finely judged characterisation and a dialogue with the horror genre itself – a very welcome contribution to the growing slate of independent cinema from the city.
Filmed on location in Erdington, Birmingham, RnR Organisation provided operational support to the production in set dressing , location management and catering.
Ted was initially involved as production manager, driver, caterer and other jobs as necessary – this capacity developed into Executive Producer.
